Labor preparation begins with education.
No matter how you choose to birth, being informed and educated can make all the difference. Birth should be a positive, safe, and supported experience. Our one day, in person class is tailored to offer you the knowledge, practice, and information you need to have your best birth! Hosted in our office located behind Javi’s in Tyler, we will bounce on birth balls, walk the halls, practice timing contractions, and get you and your birth partner prepped for the big day!
What's covered in the class?
The class is hands on, interactive, and full of group participation. Taught in a living room style discussion, we will cover the environment and role of the birth team, hormones, contractions, relaxation, comfort measures, stages of labor, pushing, and immediate postpartum. Each family receives a workbook. Birth partners are not just encouraged but required to come with you!
How much does the class cost?
The class is $150 total. $50 is to be paid as a deposit to hold your place - classes fill up quick! The remaining balance is to be paid at the class. We take cash, check, Venmo or Zelle.

What do I need to bring?
Bring 2 pillows and a small blanket for our exercises. A small snack
to tide you to lunch!
